Cost me 4,000 to get my Hall, Stairs & Living Room plastered by these and I am not lying when I say it's the worst job I've ever seen. I will probably have to spend the same to put it right. There isn't one wall that is smooth, it's only when the paint went on that you could see how bad the job was. I have had numerous tradesmen out since this job was finished and they all commented on how terrible the jobs. I can still see where the coving used to be, even where they skimmed brand new plasterboard on the stairs, they managed to leave the lumps and bumps that are ridiculous, it just looks awful with the lights on.
I called him back and he couldn't believe that he was called back to a job, it never happened before he said (sure). He was baffled and couldn't see the problems that everyone else could see. He was trying to fill those craters with filler.
I text him and told him that the walls are in an awful state and that I need to get them redone.... radio silence. Trust me when I say that if you get John to do you plastering, you're 99.99% going to have to get someone in to fix it.
