The standard of Darren’s work was extremely low. It took him hours to rehang a Musthang Sally in my utility. I’d regard this as a fairly basic job! He installed ( I’m using that term loosely) a hanging light in my sitting room. This has never worked. Darren blamed everything from the shade to the bulb to the plug etc. He left a rough area below the lamp with lumps of filler…. It could have been sanded in 5 minutes! He disappeared and only reappeared when my husband met him by chance in Dundrum Shopping centre…. when we texted him he had said he was sick. What a relief for him that he was well enough to shop! A basic wall shelf in the bedroom is crooked! We of course have to hire a qualified electrician to fix the light issue.

Totally untrustworthy, unreliable and unprofessional person. Darren made a commitment to do a job, he asked for a advance payment and it was paid straightaway to him in Jan’25. Since then he initially kept delaying the job citing various reasons and eventually excused from doing the job citing personal reasons and promised to refund the advance. I’ve trusted his words, accommodated him and waiting since but now he’s not even responding. Utterly pathetic and disgraceful behaviour. And equally disappointing by this platform: onlinetradesmen.ie It was my first time I used this platform assuming they’ve credible tradesmen over here but I was proved totally wrong and defrauded here. Would not recommend to anyone.
