Bowers Building Contracters Ltd - Ratings

Cormac started my project on Oct. 21st 2024. He abandoned the project about mid April 2025, over 5 months later. None of the jobs are finished, with some jobs not even started, although he has received all the money agreed in the contract. Cormac's modus operandi is to get his hands on as much of your money as he can early on in the project with aggressive payment schedules, whilst promising the sun, moon and stars, but ultimately doing as little work as he can possibly get away with. He is extremely unreliable and doesn't show up when he is supposed to. He has no professional integrity at all and is an absolute and utter disgrace to the builder community. You have been warned !

Very poor - house left unfinished and inhabitable with inconsistent demands for increased funds. Abandoned the job while working on two others. Very difficult to work with.

Bowers Construction began building our side extension in mid-May. From the outset, Bowers Construction were thorough as they progressed through the different phases of the build. They were also very accommodating and organised their work so there would be no noisy disruptive work taking place during the first two weeks of June when our son was sitting his Leaving Certificate exams. Bowers were also very obliging when some changes to the build were requested by us. All the tradesmen used by bowers for building, plumbing, electrics carpentry and plastering etc are efficient, competent and thorough and made every effort to minimise disruption to our family during the build. They also took a lot of care to ensure that that works involving adding RSJs and linking rooms were completed very thoroughly to engineer’s specifications. We were very pleased with the overall construction and finish which was completed to a high standard and very well insulated. One tradesman in particular is not only highly skilled and did a great job on the roof but could turn his hand to many other areas and offered us very useful help and advice during the build also. We are very happy with our new extension, and all completed works. We would happily use Bowers Construction again. Many thanks.
